Comments:
Last week was the worst week for the markets since March this year but we saw a cyclical led bounce on Monday to start a new week off with Energy and Materials at the top and Tech and Comms at the bottom of the sector list.
Dow Jones Industrial Average and Russel 2000 were the big movers up with a 1.6% and 2.0% gain respectively. The S&P 500 only managed 1.2% gain while the Nasdaq Composite turned positive late in the session and closing up 0.4%. Futures are trading higher this morning.
This is a stand aside week while we await the election outcomes, earnings and NFP.
So, enjoy a long weekend.
