If we take the first half of yesterday’s trading session, that is kind of what we could have expected to have seen on Friday had it not been for the bad news catalyst and the knee-jerk reaction to it from the reduced number of traders working on that day.
Nasdaq Composite was the biggest gainer at 1.88% followed by S&P 500 +1.32% and Dow Jones Industrial Average +0.68%. Small-cap closed at -0.18%.
Clearly, the fear of Omicron was far less the next trading day.
A shopping spree is still on for us but as we have done much of it over the last month, we can take our time and look for the bargains. The amateurs will at some point rush to get in after having been stopped out on Friday and the cycle will begin.
BTCUSD and ETHUSD over the last few days have also been moving upwards.
Let’s go trade!
